The Hongchuangwei Km05 fence barrier gate features a cold-rolled steel cabinet and a fence-style barrier arm for everyday vehicle access management. It supports adjustable operating speed, obstacle-triggered reversal, and delayed closing. An optional power-failure opening function is also available to meet project requirements.

A Fence-Style Arm for a Clear Entrance Boundary

Compared with a straight boom, a fence-style barrier arm adds a visible barrier below the upper horizontal beam. The red-and-black design shown in the installation photos helps drivers identify the closed entrance and stopping position.

For entrances with security staff, vehicle checks, or a defined entry procedure, the barrier gate can form part of the overall vehicle access system. Cabinet placement, stop lines, traffic direction, and pedestrian routes should be planned together to suit the site.

Where pedestrians also need access, a separate pedestrian passage is recommended to reduce shared use of the vehicle barrier area.

Cold-Rolled Steel Cabinet for Site Planning

The Km05 cabinet measures 583 × 380 × 1135 mm and is made from 2.0 mm-thick cold-rolled steel.

These dimensions provide a reference for equipment positioning. Installation planning should also account for the barrier arm length, clearance when raised, maintenance access, and nearby structures. At entrances with guard booths, curbs, or traffic islands, the mounting base and available space should be checked in advance.

For wider entrances, a two-sided installation may be considered following a site assessment. The choice of a single or paired arrangement, along with its operating sequence, should be confirmed according to the clear entrance width and control requirements. Installation photos alone should not be used to determine the required dimensions.

Adjustable Operating Time of 3–6 Seconds

The Km05 has a 150W motor, an adjustable operating time of 3–6 seconds, and a 24V 10A switching power supply.

Different sites require different operating settings. Factory entrances may handle both trucks and passenger cars, industrial parks may experience concentrated traffic during shift changes, and parking facilities may need the barrier to follow a vehicle verification process.

Operating speed should be set according to the selected arm configuration, vehicle types, and on-site commissioning results. Closing timing also needs attention so that the gate operation matches the actual passage process.

Obstacle-Triggered Reversal and Delayed Closing

The km05 supports obstacle-triggered reversal with adjustable force settings, as well as delayed closing.

Obstacle-triggered reversal is an operating protection feature; it does not provide advance vehicle detection. Projects requiring vehicle detection or additional protection against the arm closing onto a vehicle should separately confirm the detection devices, control interfaces, and system operation. These functions should be tested after installation.

Delayed closing should also be configured around the time vehicles need to pass and the site's access procedure. Truck access, visitor checks, and manually authorized entry may require different settings during commissioning.

Wireless Remote Controls and Optional Power-Failure Opening

The standard km05 package includes two wireless remote controls, allowing site staff to operate the gate according to their access management procedures.

For projects that need vehicle access during a power outage, a supercapacitor-based power-failure opening function is available as an option. This feature should be specified in the order configuration, with the required behavior during power loss and power restoration confirmed before purchase.

If the project includes license plate recognition or another vehicle management system, the interfaces and supporting equipment should also be confirmed in advance. Recognition terminals shown in installation photos should not be assumed to be included with every km05 unit.

The km05 does not support conversion between left-hand and right-hand installation. The cabinet mounting side and barrier arm orientation must therefore be confirmed before ordering.
